Let The World Know About Your Website
AdWords is the best choice by far. Some keywords may cost more and some may cost less. It all depends on the competition level. Sometimes one keyword may cost you 4 cents and others may cost you 5 dollars per each IF you want it to be on the first page. Believe me, it is not worth having your ad showing second page or lower than that. Always try to have your ad show on the first page, even if you pay more for that. More exposure -MORE TRAFFIC! Don’t make it boring. Make it different. Stop and think how you can get someone else’s attention and to click on your ad. You would need to update the bidding on your keywords every day.
If you bid for the price to get your ad to show up on the first page of Google search, and if your competition bids for higher price, your site might come down to second page, so make sure you keep record of your ads and bid more if you have to!Remember that Google ADWORDS does NOT show how much your competition bids on specific keyword. You may only guess. The higher your bidding the more likely you will go over your competition on certain word.
Another very large ad network is YAHOO ADS, same as Overture. It is same system only difference is, YAHOO ads DO show how much your competition bid on particular keyword. So you can adjust and bid on particular keyword any hour any day and keep your records checked and updated to make sure your ad showing up on first page.
If your budget is limited, it is no problem. You can set how much you can expect to spend each day and each month and if it goes over your set MAXIMUM AMOUNT, your ad campaign will STOP and you will not have your ads showing up anymore until you add more funds into your account.
IMPORTANT
Keep in mind, since these are the biggest ad networks, most people use them and most likely your competition will use it too, that is why naturally it could be expensive to use, depending on what keywords you utilize.
There are other cheaper ad networks that you could start off with.
A keyword with Google ADWORDS or Yahoo ADS may cost 10 cents per keyword while other ad network will charge 2 cents per keyword due to less competition. Those other ad networks are:
1) enhance
2) SearchFeed
3) 7Search
4) Looksmart
5) GoClick
6) Search123
BECOME TRAFFIC MIDDLEMAN
Let me tell you something. A lot of people make a huge living off becoming “traffic middleman”. It’s like buying stock low and selling it high. Does not always work but if you do it right, could potentially bring in huge profits.
Let me give you perfect example. You set up your web-page full of information AND most importantly full of Google AdSense Ads (Read TOS). Make sure your Google Ads are VISIBLE. For example you can have a menu on the left of your website. When people click on one of the menu choices, they will see 2 big rectangular ads, along each other in a row, covering half of the page already. Below those ads you will have information about whatever it is that you are writing about. So when people open it, you want them to click on those ads.
That is why you place both of those 2 rectangular Google AdSense ads along each other in a row and place biggest vertical banner on the very bottom of the page.
Trick of the trade is this: You buy keywords for pennies over at:
1) enhance
2) SearchFeed
3) 7Search
4) Looksmart
5) GoClick
6) Search123
And when people click on your ad on these network, they come to your site, and your goal is to have them click on your Google AdSense ads which in turn WILL PAY YOU MORE MONEY EVERY TIME VISITORS CLICK ON YOUR GOOGLE ADSENSE ADS.
So, you might advertise your ad at those 7 networks for 4 pennies and when people come to your site and click on your Google AdSense ad, you will have a chance to earn as much as 10 dollars per click (pay out rate may vary).
Now your question, what is the click-through rate? Normally the rate starts from 10% to over 50%. So if you set up your website right, with Google AdSense ads positioned like I explained, or better according to you, then out of ever 10 people who visit your website using any or all of those 7 networks, FIVE OF THOSE PEOPLE WILL ACTUALLY CLICK ON YOUR AD, EARNING YOU MONEY!
The reason why people would usually click on your Google AdSense ads is because your ads will actually be relevant to what visitors are looking for. Your ads will look like real results, and less like ads, when you set them up right!
I recommend for you to read the following source: Making living with AdWords. This was the best read by far. With this technique alone, you can me making HUGE money promoting your website for the MINIMUM amount of investment. I recommend you read it NOW.
Remember that you have to find out WHO your #1 competition is. Check what kind Google AdWords ads they are using including the TITLE and content. A lot of those companies may have done research on what works and what doesn’t, so all you have to do is look at what they are using, what kind of title and text and see what you can do, to make it as affective as your competition. Remember to be creative too! DO NOT REINVENT THE WHEEL, USE WHAT IS ALREADY PROVEN AND WHAT ALREADY WORKS.
Here is truly golden FREE information on how to get millions of people to visit your site, after all, if you have the best website, set up and ready for business and nobody visiting it, what is the use?
Here is the list:
1) Google AdWords
2) PPC. –Advertise your website on other proven websites that get tons of traffic already. Your goal is to convert traffic into sales. So for example if you spend 100 dollars to advertise on specific website that has TONS of visitors and your goal is to convert that traffic that you paid for into $500 dollars of sales. Once you do that, you can continue to buy more PPC ads and convert them into sales and so on!
3) Search engines (free, natural way of getting extra traffic. This was described above. It’s bonus to have extra help with Google to get that extra traffic when people search for product similar to yours, but I would not depend on it 100%. Use 1) and 2) options as well!
IMPORTANT!
Make sure if you create campaign and you find 3 or more different websites that gets TONS of traffic and you want to have your ads running on them. Do not put all your eggs into one basket!!
Make sure you keep track of which website convert traffic into sales and which once fail to convert, because if you do not do your homework, you going to end up with big hole in your pocket!!! There are tools available to do that specific kind of job for you but they are very expensive but if you already making hundreds of thousands each month, then you don’t care about the cost. The only thing you care is HOW MUCH CAN YOU CONVERT YOUR INVESTMENT.
CONCLUSION ON TRAFFIC:
Everything boils down to TRAFFIC. At this point you need how much you can afford to contribute to your marketing campaign. If you just starting out and your can not afford much to spend to heavily market your website, then I recommend the above free marketing techniques that will definitely get you going but will require more time to invest.
On the other hand if you don’t have time and have some money to invest to advertise, then I recommend pay per click programs, such as the one I described - Google AdWords. Be creative and change things constantly with AdWords to see what works and what doesn’t.
If you come across websites that promise to deliver 10,000 visitors for 10 dollars or something like that, if I were you, I would avoid them. These are usually bot generated, or unethical ways to acquire visitors. Few could be generated through porn sites that generally get huge traffic, pop ups, pop-under, email soliciting and other untargeted ways that will likely NOT help you sell anything.
